All Stores: Your safety and your customers’ safety is the most important! In the past few weeks we have had several thefts, cases of vandalism, shootings, & spam callers happening in our centers. It is of the utmost importance that we take necessary steps to minimize the impacts of these events and stay as safe as possible. Please, talk to your teams about the importance of staying safe.

  • Stockroom door must remain closed at all times, no exception
  • Customers are absolutely never allowed in the stock room, no exception
  • All store doors for customers to enter/exit the store must remain unlocked while the store is open, no exception
  • Two people are working in the store at all times, nobody works alone, no exception
  • I have instructed the Corporate Office to not call the stores. The only people authorized to call the Stores are Mike, Stephanie, Keri, Carol, and Debbie, Nicole, and Linda. If anyone else calls your store and claims to be from Corporate, simply ask for their name and extension and offer to call the Corporate number and return their call as soon as you are able to. Never give any confidential information out.
  • Communication Priorities – We have an opportunity to improve our communication as a team. There are three Communication Priority levels.
    • P1 – Text and Call Stephanie and Mike in cases of emergency (large theft, robbery, gun violence, threats to store personnel, physical safety such as fire, tornado, hurricane) Follow up with an email and a complete Incident Report to Stephanie, Mike, and Retail Operations
    • P2 – Call Stephanie and email Stephanie, Mike, and Retail Operations with cases of large cash shortages, physical safety preparation (a hurricane could be on its way), temporary power outage, indirect violence (shooting in the mall, but not in the store)
    • P3 – Email Stephanie, Mike, Retail Operations with cases of small cash shortages, transaction errors

Please email me directly with any and all questions and concerns regarding this post. I know together we will comply with our required items (first 5 bullets), as well as improve our communication between Stores and Corporate. Please take safety seriously!

All Stores:

With the recent concerns surrounding coronavirus, we want to reassure you all that Brahmin is following the business guidelines recommended by WHO and the CDC.   However, it is encouraged that you as an individual are in close communication with shopping center management and with your internal management team.  As your manager, I will do my best to keep in tune with what is happening in each region but would rely on you to reach out to me on any changes as they occur in your centers.

The below precautionary measures will help to ensure you remain healthy;

1.  Proper coughing and sneezing technique
2.  Proper hand washing
3.  Avoid touching your face, eyes, nose and mouth with your hands.
4.  Regularly cleaning of your cash wraps, bathrooms, tabletops, and any door/drawer handles.

We will continue to monitor and communicate accordingly.

All Stores: Good Morning! Although your Easter hours may not be changing from LY, please send them to Debbie by EOD today.

When sending in customer repairs, I would suggest that you keep a copy of the Repair Form along with the UPS Tracking Number. Recently we have had numerous customers calling to inquire about their repairs. After further investigation, it was found that the items were still in transit. Had the information been easily accessible, the customer wait time would have been much shorter.
